Vegan Sour Cream


1 cup raw marula nuts

1/4 cup filtered water

1⁄4 tsp sea salt

1 -2 tsp apple cider vinegar (depending on desired acidity)

Juice of 1 small lemon


Cover marula nuts with water and soak overnight.

Strain out all the water and put in a food processor.

Add all the rest of the ingredients, and process using an S-blade until completely smooth and creamy.

Refrigerate in an airtight (preferably glass) container for up to a week.
